Why suppliers are now part of the ESG story

As large listed companies report under BRSR Core, including value-chain disclosures, much of the underlying data starts with suppliers. Many suppliers are capable manufacturers with little exposure to ESG reporting. They need clear, practical guidance rather than theory.

A two-day programme

• ●Day 1 — the fundamentals. An introduction to ESG, sustainability and the structure of BRSR, so that every participant starts from the same footing.
• ●Day 2 — the KPIs. Environmental KPIs covering energy, greenhouse gas emissions, water and waste, followed by Social and Governance KPIs, closing with a numeric practice case.

Learning by doing

Sticky-note and pen-and-paper activities kept both days hands-on. Participants calculated, discussed and corrected figures together, leaving with a method they can apply to their own plant data.
